ReHat Linux Unable to shutdown/restart after python remove
I did stupid mistake, while i was trying to uninstall a previous version
of Python on my RedHat Linux VM
First i installed a version of Python, and later i found out that the
version i installed would not work with what i wanted to do. So, i needed
to downgrade Python to an earlier version.
And here i messed it up. I did a yum erase python and that removed
entirely the Python from my system. Leaving thus the entire VM
inaccessible.
I can't shut it down from vSphere Web Client, nor restart it. It is
completely unresponsive.
Didn't think that that would remove the entire python from the system.
Stupid !
Would anyone know what to do in this case ? I am trying to restart it so i
can re-install again the .iso image.
Please, this is urgent
Thanks !
